will 6ohm speakers ruin amp@ 4 0hms?

I am having some 6.5 foster woofers reconed and found some 6ohm woofers at a swap meet. would the cause any disruptions or damage to the amp. vintage coustic 75.

You can always run an amp with speakers that are higher impedance than the amps minimum rating. You will get less power than the amp would put out at 4 ohms but the speakers might be more efficient than your Fosters. Adjust the level to balance the swap meet woofers with your other speakers until you get the reconed ones back.
