I have a vostro 430, I bought it last week from craigslist, its a pretty decent working computer and its basically brand new but it lags horribly when playing games like CSGO, it has a GeForce 220 though. As of right now I found out a GeForce 650 Ti will work with this motherboard but I dont know if the 650 is powerful enough. I want this PC to be turned from a old work computer into a mini gaming PC. I was wondering, would the motherboard allow anything like a GeForce 1050 Ti? I know the PSU needs to be upgraded, so if it is possible to having it work how many watts should the power supply be. I also need a new CPU so Knowing the CPU upgrade ability would be great too. I rather keep this computer instead of buying a new one with the money ill spend on parts, I bought the computer for fairly cheap and upgrading the PC is cheaper than buying a whole new one. And if in any case it doesn't work out I could still use the parts for a custom build.
Thanks

Model: Dell Vostro 430 Mini
Specs:

intel core i3 530 @2.93 GHz

4GB of ram, Im not sure what type but I know it can upgraded to 16Gb maximum, (4x4GB)

GeForce 220

350 Watt Powersupply

Solution
New CPU + new GPU + new PSU + new RAM = basically a new PC ( minus HDD, motherboard and case)

Sure, you can upgrade it. But if you're replacing most of if, you might as well build a new - modern one.
Your vostro 430 is at least 8 years old btw.
