Question Will a 128 MB dedicated VRAM run GTA V?

I have GTA V. Can you tell me how much FPS will I get on the lowest settings? Low FPS isn't a problem unless it is in between 1 - 5.

Yup, we'll need all the specs to be able to provide any help. While I'm strongly inclined to think "not a chance," I don't want to make a definitive answer on a PC I know absolute nothing about other than the dedicated VRAM. It's a bit like asking for help with your car and only telling people that it has four tires.

128MB of dedicated VRAM ? Which card is this ? That's too low for GTA5, and it is below the minimum recommended specs as well. I doubt you might be able to play the game, even on a very low resolution screen. 1GB is the minimum.

Minimum system specifications are just a base line, you can usually play games well below the system specifications (such as on a LGA775 dual core system when it requires a 'intel core 2 Quad') VRAM is the one thing that probably wouldn't be very flexible however.

In your computer's current state, it will not run. But I am sure you can find mods that will further lower details and the resolution to make it at least playable, but I doubt it will help very much.

That will not run gta v at a playable level even at the lowest settings.

Yeah, even with lowest settings and mods, I can't imagine getting much more than 10-15 FPS, and probably worse when there's a lot of action happening. You're talking Intel integrated graphics from 2011.

jakethegreat908 Hello and thank for your question. Normally when a person asks whether a certain Steam game will run decently on their computer, I recommend that they simply purchase the title, and Steam refund it if the performance isn't acceptable.

However, in your case I can confidently state that the game will run horribly. I attempted to run GTA V on my Lenovo X230, which has an mobile i7 processor and no graphics card, and the performance was not-playable on the absolute lowest settings. And my business laptop's CPU and integrated graphics performance is 35 and 60% better than yours, respectively. I wish that I had better news for you.

It all pretty much comes down to how much you are willing to spend. You can upgrade a dell workstation desktop pc for a couple hundred USD that would play games at a decent level, or you could build your own from scratch, which usually hits around the $500 mark at minimum if you are buying decent hardware.

If you choose the lower end route (upgrading a Dell for example) it would still cost you about $300 for a good, capable machine. So in this case, it just depends on your preference and your budget. If you don't have a budget, I would recommend saving (for as long as that takes) and getting yourself a capable machine at some point. You will thank yourself later.
