Will a 15 ft DisplayPort cable reduce the quality?

My computer is going to be about 15 ft away from my monitor, and my monitor is a 1440p 144hz g sync monitor. If I use a 980 ti, and a 15 ft Displayport cable, will the quality of my games be reduced since the cable is going to be long? Thanks!

Solution
Technically there would be more latency delay, but since electromagnetic energy travels at the speed of light it's not even worth considering how small a difference it would be.
Sometimes, a digital cable can be too long and you get what's called the "digital cliff" effect where pixels rapidly start dropping off. It is called that because the effect was much more gradual with analogue connections whereas digital cables will be fine up to a certain legnth, then sharply crap out.

However, I doubt you'll have any such problems with a 15 foot Displayport cable, assuming it isn't some $0.50 piece of junk on Ebay.

Digital can have problems too, just not the same exact problems. Analogue gets gradually worse with longer cables. Digital will be fine up to a certain length, say 14 feet, but then 15 feet will be utter crap (just using random numbers as examples).

I don't think Displayport is as bad about it, but this has been a major problem with HDMI cables, especialy cheap ones. Being digital does not automatically mean you can make a cable as long as you want to. Ethernet is the best documented case of this.
