I am getting a new PC and not sure whether to go for an intel or amd CPU, if I get the intel my RAM is limited to 2666Mhz but AMD is 3200Mhz however the CPU is slower.
Will 3200Mhz 16GB RAM make a considerable difference to performance compared to 2666Mhz.
As in will it be noticeable faster or will i see a decent jump in frame rate during games?

Solution
3200Mhz 16GB RAM will be a lot faster than 2666Mhz, the increase of your in-game fps won't be that much but your pc will be a lot faster in normal desktop stuff

Which Intel and which AMD cpu do you want to get?

If i go for the AMD i will get the Ryzen 5 3600, meaning i can have the RAM at 3200MHz,
If i go Intel i will get the i5-10600K which is a better CPU compared to the Ryzen 3600 however i will only get 2666Mhz of RAM.
Which do you think is the better option?

Ryzen is better at productivity tasks and workloads. The RAM is also something really important and I would go for 3200Mhz and Ryzen CPU rather than Intel CPU and 2666Mhz.

Are you sure?
Becusae the ryzen is a six core with 3.6GHz where as intel is 4.1GHz and boosts all the way to 4.8GHz which is much faster?

Go with the 10600k and 3200 ram.
The default speed will be 2666 but a simple overclock will bump that up.
