Will a 4670T bottleneck my 7950 3gb crossfire?

Hello,

I've come across a great deal getting a 4670T and 16gigs of 1600 ram for €150. Now I just sold my fx 4300 because it couldn't handle my 7950s crossfire remotely (my 4690k gets up to 150 fps in GTA V very high settings with the 7950s, the 4300 only 52).

Now I don't want to buy another bottleneck. What do you guys advice me?

Hi,

Depending on games it should be the other way around, the 7950 might hold you down but most likely not since you are in crossfire.

I got the 7950s for really cheap. if I can get the max out of the 7950s with the 4670t, I'm happy.. I just don't want another CPU bottleneck replacing the old one. And I know some games are more CPU intensive (BF4 64 man) but if I play games like FC4, Fallout4 I want the GPU's at 100, not the cpu.

Or is a i5 4460S better?
