Depends on what you count as "better." If price is better, yes. 600W should be enough. I'd personally go for the higher wattage. I've got an EVGA, running crossfire no problem. Zero problems.

Not so much the wattage rating much as quality of the PSU. Save up a bit longer before purchase if that is what it takes. Good PSU will serve you well for many years. Cheap one, not so much. And can take out other components when it blows.

Looks like the lowest recommended is 550W PSU. The 500W PSU *will* run it, but it may cause overdraw. That's just how PSU's roll. They can produce more power than they were rated for. The internal components can't handle it.

I'll just note that I tried rigging a system a while back with a PSU that was too small. It was the stock PSU in a Dell system, made in China. It caught on fire. Like a legit FIRE and I had to carry it outside while it was smoking up my house with burned plastic. Spend the extra money for a good bronze certified PSU. At least 100W over what you need so it's not near the max output and getting really hot.

Another thing you need to consider is other peripherals in the system. If you're using an AMD FX CPU it's probably 90W or more. Some AMD CPU's are over 220W TDP. Your HDD's draw power. How many HDD's are you powering? Gotta consider the other stuff. Throw something bigger in there. Be on the safe side. I picked up an 850W EVGA PSU for about $60.

well, My cpu will be the i5 4690k, the motherboard will be an ashrock z97 pro 4, i will not put any ssd. Here in argentina we dont have Amazon, ebay, or any of that, so you, in your country, get a 850w psu for 60 dollars, here in argentina i cant even get a 400w one (Legit). The best thing i can get is this one Seasonic M12ii 620w Evo Edition. but here, the lowest price for that psu is 146 USD.

Yeah, the 700W should be plenty. Intel CPU's are fairly low wattage compared to AMD so you don't have much draw coming from there. So you could probably squeeze by with a 550W like recommended by AMD (for the GPU). With the extra wattage capabilities (for draw) a 700 or even a 600W should be running well under their max capable draw.
