The only way your system will ever approach that wattage is when you are gaming. The UPS will only switch on when the regular power from the wall socket dips (a brownout) or fails completely (a blackout). If you are gaming when you hear the UPS switch on, you need to exit as quickly as possible to avoid an overload situation just in case.
