Will a 6350 overclocked to ~4.5GHz bottleneck 2x7950?

I'll have around $250-$300 next quarter and would like to know if the FX 6350 would cause any issues for two 7950s. I already have a single 7950 and it's running off of a Phenom II 965 that's overclocked to 3.8GHz. I already invested in a 120GB SSD so that's taken care of, as well as RAM. Just need a a motherboard and processor to go along with the two 7950s come Q1 of 2014.

Before I go ahead and get 3 monitors, I'd like to invest in my rig and know which CPU/Motherboard is the best combination for under $300 [that includes shipping and tax to the Philippines]. I'm planning to make an excuse to drop a wad of dough [300 USD is like 13K PHP] and it has to be convincing so my girlfriend doesn't hate me for it, if that's a valid reason. LoL.

Willing to listen into any discussions and suggestions you can offer.

well... there IS some bottlenecking with fx cpus when in xfire/sli. it's worse in xfire, as to an extent fx cpus and nvidia graphics cards play better together then fx cpus and amd video cards.

if you can get that fx up around 4.8-5.0 ghz it's doubtful you'll have any meaningful bottleneck worth mentioning. The bottle-necking will get progressively worse with higher resolutions so keep that in mind (that's ok, cause the frame latency fix doesn't work for eyefinity yet anyway so cool those jets on the 3 monitor purchase)

Although I have not used a FX-6350 I do have a FX-8120 setup with a Crossfire Sapphire HD 7950 and it runs great in every game I have played. I have it setup on 3 Asus 27" monitors on a Eyefinity.

I think you should be fine with the FX-6350 and as long as you have a good aftermarket CPU Cooler you can always overclock the CPU. I have always found that AMD/ATI GPU's work very well with AMD CPU's and Nvidia GPU's seem to work a little better with intel CPU's but really not by much.

Thanks for the replies, ingtar33, bryonhowley. Really appreciate them. If I could stretch my budget to fit in an 8xxx instead of a 6xxx I would. I guess I'll have to hunt for some sweet deals when the time comes. I've had a not-so-good experience with pre-owned items so I tend to not purchase them at all. Any recommendations for a CPU-Motherboard combination that's less than $250 USD?

the ga-970a-ud3 is one of the better low end overclocking boards, the other budget option would be an asus m5a97 r2.0 (if you plan on just moderate and not seriously aggressive overclocks the m5a97 r2.0 is a slightly cheaper board; but the price has risen so much recently for it it no longer makes a lot of sense to go with it over the better overclocking ga-970a-ud3)
