no it will not the movie will be the same quality as a normal 720p movie on a 1080p or 720p monitor what will be different is that the movie will not look as good as the monitor CAN display it

Yes and no. Technically, it's the same resolution and will look the same (or maybe better because upscaling), but it actually won't.

Source: have 2 4K TVs hooked up to shit cable boxes, and also have similarly sized 1080p monitor watching 720p livestreams.
