I was bouta buy a rtx 3060 that had 500watt min requirement and I went and bought a psu with 750watt for my new rig but with the prices going down I can now buy a rtx 3060ti that has 750watt min can I still rock this gpu without any problems
CPU:5600x
Ram:trident z 3600mhz
Mobo:ASUS rog strix 550a
Stock cooler for the cpu
Plus 4fans in the case

Solution
A 3060TI has a 600W 'requirement', although the actual power draw for a 3060TI itself is ~200W.

3060/TI cards have less of an issue (relative to 3070+) with transient load spikes.

You'd do just fine with a quality ~550W PSU or better with that setup. Which "750watt" PSU did you actually buy?

That's not an actual model.... but assuming you mean the MWE? Decent enough IIRC, especially with a 5600X + 3060TI. Nothing to worry about there.

Probably not the PSU I'd recommend someone runs out to buy, but it's not like you bought a firehazard or anything.
Yeah the mwe I know…upon further investigation it wasn’t the brightest choice buuut in my defence I was on a budget(when I got it ) and it was on sale😂
