Its a stock clock Amd Phenom 9500 With Zalman 9700 NT as its cooler. My Graphics Card is a EVGA Super-Clocked 8800GTS 640MB Card. My motherboard has 5200 HTs.
It will be okay but......
When you are talking about gaming, still more Mhz is better.
At 2.2ghz, that processor is definetly what I would call a low end choice for gaming. The quad core doesn't do much for games, you would see more frames per second with a faster dual core.
with the zalman 9700 you can push the Phenom X4 a bit more by overclocking to 2.4 - 2.6. You can extract even more performance given your mobo is socket AM2+
No it will not.Even at 2.2 it was fast for me .I now have it at 3ghz with 4gigs of G.skill 1066 on an MSI 790fx ,gpu is a 2900pro oc to 752/859.waiting for 4800s from AMD/ATI
What was your bios settings for overclocking the processor and make the ram work at 1066mhz ?
Cuz I have a problem with getting my ram work at 1066 on windows 10 !
