Will a Core i5-4670 work on a B85M-G mb without me having to update BIOS?

I'm planning on updating to a i5-4670 but don't want to upgrade from my current BIOS. will the cpu work without upgrading?

I'm currently using an american megathreads 2403 BIOS version.

Yes. It will be fine. I have i7 4790 running with no issues on older bios versions
