I have already bought an R9 290 and was wondering whether my CX 600 will handle it. I won't do any overclocking and I have already lowered my CPU voltage to 1.035v instead of stock voltage to lower power consumption.

My PC Specs:
Intel Core i5 4690K
8GB 1600 MHZ Ram
EVGA GTX 760 ACX/SC
Gigabyte H81M-H Rev 1.1
Corsair CX 600 Watt PSU
Kingston 120 GB SSD
Western Digital Caviar Black 1TB HDD
NZXT Source 210 ATX Case

Damn then I should've ask this question before I bought the GPU. I got the R9 290 for $260 from new egg thought it was a good dead and I was hoping I can stick with my CX 600 for now.

But it only sucks up 145 Watts. I just bought this PSU a month ago to replace my thermaltake TR2 now I gotta buy a new one. Damn next time I will just buy a 1600 Watt power supply so I will never have to worry about PSU requirements

Yes I understand that but if that is the case then Corsair puting 80+ Bronze on their label for this PSU is a wrong thing to do. I assume 80+ Bronze means good quality but if CX 600 is not a good quality PSU then they shouldn't put 80+ Bronze for it
