The netbook is an Acer Aspire ONE D257-13652. It currently has a 1GB DDR3 PC3-8500 ram on it and locally I can only find a 1GB DDR3 PC3-10600 to make it 2GB (which is the most this netbook will take).
Can this motherboard AOD257 run a higher pc3 DDR3 and if it can would i have to buy both PC3-10600 or can I use the 8500 and 10600 and do they have to be the same brand? I'm not looking for a perfect build but I struggle seeing my sister use win7 with just 1GB until she buys a better laptop in the future.
