Will a Dell XPS 410 support the Sata II (3.0 Gbit/sec) transfer rate?

Does the Dell XPS 410 chipset support SATA Revision 2 (3.0 Gbit/sec)?

I have been running my disk at 1.5 Gbit/sec. It has data on it now. If I switch it to 3.0 Gbit/sec, is that going to cause access issues or a loss of data?

Can I have one disk running 1.5 Gbit/sec and the other running 3.0 Gbit/sec?

How are you going to turn on sata2 speed?
But normally yes, you can mix/ have different speed drives and the individual sata port & drive will communicate to determine which speed to use for that port.
