Will a docking station allow me to take advantage of my 144hz monitor?

I recently bought the Asus VG248QE and hooked it up to my laptop via HDMI. I know that I can only achieve 60hz with my HDMI cable, but I was wondering if putting my laptop on the Targus Universal 2K Laptop Docking Station would allow me to use the 144hz if I used the correct ports. Thank you in advance!

I'm thinking it's pretty unlikely that the dock will support 144Hz. Look at the other Targus dock with the 2 displayports. It specifically says that it supports 2 display ports at 2560x1600 at 60fps. I think it's a good assumptions that the internal design of these two docks are very similar. Consequently, I doubt that the refresh rates are greater than 60Hz.
