I currently have a gtx 960 that is connected to my Acer GN246HL monitor via DVI to be able to play at 144hz. I am planning to upgrade my gpu to a Gigabyte rtx 2070 super Gaming OC, but the problem is that it only supports hdmi or display port and my monitor only supports hdmi up to 60hz. So I was wondering if a DVI to hdmi (or display port) converter will be able to support 144hz.
EDIT: https://www.amazon.ca/Rankie-Displa...&qid=1571272283&sprefix=displa,aps,146&sr=8-5 something like this
Thank you!

See section 0 here regarding your monitor specifically.

DP to DVI DL active adapter is your only choice and is possible but may be unreliable. See adapters tested by the author of that guide.
