Will a Evga GTX 1060 SC be able to run Games on a 2K monitor?

I have recently bought a Evga GTX 1060 SC and im wondering wether it will be able to run a QHD monitor. I'm not bothered about the frame rates dropping as long as they are at around 60fps.

Not at Ultra settings, no. 30-50fps is more likely depending on the game or the settings. You'll get 60fps+ on older, or less demanding games.

Not at ultra settings, to get more frames you will have to lower the settings to something like medium for smooth gameplay, at least a 1070 is required for that.

It really depends on the game. All of my older titles run just find on my 2K monitor, whether with Magnum's GTX1060, or the GTX1050Ti in Minion. None are current AAA shooters though, so your results will certainly vary.
