will a fx 4350 bottleneck gtx 960

Solution

Then you have got another problem because With a fx4130 and a Gtx760 there is NO bottlenecks.
People think to fast that they have a bottleneck and in this case it`s absolutly NOT the case.

i have an fx 4130 with gtx 760 and it bottlenecks in any semi CPU intensive game even minecraft i have huge fps drops on any multiplayer server if u play any newer multiplayer games
So in games like battlefield yes you will have performance problems and will NOT get the full performance out of your gpus

I hit 100% cpu usage all the time during most games like sc2 even minecraft when chunk loading i have huge fps drops, try getting a better cpu and gpu balance if u want 60 fps always, my gt 630 and gtx 760 perform nearly the exact same fps on sc2 because my cpu is crap

The original question was whether the 4350 (not 4130) would bottleneck the GTX 960 and the answer is mostly no. Also when you consider the per-core performance in comparison to other FX chips and the fact that this chip can be overclocked even more, the FX 4350 is kind of underrated. Current generation games are starting to lean more heavily on the GPU so the FX 4350 is still a great CPU for the money. I think I saw it on Newegg for $85. I currently have it on the RIG I am using right now as I type this message and it's plenty potent. In actual per core performance it EVEN beats the FX 8350 as long as usage is kept at 4 cores or less!

I have both cpus the fx 8350 and the fx 4350 and also have a evga 970 ssc and i'll tell you this, I get way better performance with the fx 4350 cpu. With the games that I have played I get 60 frames with v sync on, you will get above that without vsync, such as far cry 3, batman origins, tumb raider, metro last light, dying light (with minor drop but can even notice it), skyrim, resident evil reveletions 2, with settings all the way up and many more games. Oh also I have my fx 4350 overclocked to 4.6. I am very happy with the 4350 cpu. In some games you do get minor frame drop like crisis 3 and borderlands pre-sequel. So you decided now.
