i am about to buy a asus geforce gtx 750 ti oc 2gb graphics card and i was worried that it wouldnt
fit in my dell optiplex 960 mini tower

sorry for my bad english

Solution

I don't think it will fit, but try this one instead:http://www.amazon.com/Zotac-NVIDIA-GeForce-PCI-Express-ZT-70601-10M/dp/B00IFZ547Q/ref=sr_1_10?ie=UTF8&qid=1403313255&sr=8-10&keywords=gtx+750ti
I also recommend your next upgrade being a power supply upgrade don't want to risk frying the components with a bad voltage regulator

thanks but what psu should i get like a 1000w psu ?

some models of store bought computers [dell.hp,acer,ect..] may come with a ''locked'' bios and may not allow you to change certain hardware as a video card.. this is done to protect them from undue warranty claims and refunds .this is not done to hurt you but to protect them. you really need to see if that upgrade has been proven to work in your model first before you invest money in it .. there are a lot of these threads here at toms to look at some models will allow upgrades and some dont.. and a lot of guys here say ya ya ya when is really no no no...it would be sad you spent $200 on a card that wount post after you installed it as most find out. then get told its your psu and you spend more and end up right back where you are now, but its up to you good luck..

you got to know the the boards in these computers are not like the ones we use to do custom builds witch are open to upgrading with in the boards compatibly . the bios is custom made for there design and just for the parts they authorize to be used on there computers

No, definitley not 1000w. A 430 or 500 watt psu made by a good brand will easily do it.
Look at these:http://www.amazon.com/Corsair-Builder-Series-EPS-80-certified/dp/B0092ML1SC

If it will help you decide any... I'm running a Galaxy L-P GTX 750 Ti factory OC card on a 300W Seasonic w/2 x 18A +12V rails (300W) and an i3-4150 in an HTPC build I just put together for resale. prime95, Intel Burn Test, Furmark, Crysis 3 @1080p (med settings)... no problems.

Don't buy it. It is absolute crap and can kill the rest of your hardware. Go for a 600 watt reliable brand instead of a bad 1500 watt. A bad voltage regulator will kill your whole pc.
