Will a Gigabyte R9 280 run with a EVGA 500W PSU?

I have a Gigabyte R9 280 (Windforce Edition) graphics card and I was wondering how it will run with an EVGA 500W PSU? The overall build has a maximum wattage of 400W so I thought 500W should be enough but I wanted to check what kind of results I can expect with this PSU.

Yes it will, unless you're running crossfire or something like a FX-9590.
