Hello Graphics people

i'm thinking to buy a EVGA 1060 3GB but i saw reviews on how will it do on ultrawide or 2560x1080
some benchmarks was extremely good and some was bad like 30fps
Here is my system:
CPU: i5-7600k @ 4.3 (boosted)
Ram: 8 ram @ 2400
Monitor: LG 24MP59G-P

Will a 1060 3gb be enough to run most of current games at 60fps and more? or should i get 6gb
if it happens that you have a 1060 3gb and a 2560x1080 please share some of your benchmarks
also won't harm if you have a 6gb one to compare
Thanks in advance

Solution
I have a GTX 980 and an ultrawide and so far it's handled everything pretty well. About the same performance but 4GB of VRAM.
Planning to ply far cry 5 soon so that'll be the next test. I'll probably upgrade later this year though, my card is almost 4 years old!
