Hello, I was just about to buy a GTX 750 Ti and I wasn't sure if it would fit my mother board?
My mother board is a:
n-alvorix-rs880-uatx
and my computer that I'm trying to upgrade is a:
HP Pavilion Elite HPE-500y Desktop PC

One last question(sorry it isn't on the title). Will this new graphics card(with a new power supply[750W]) be enough to change my old desktop to a somewhat viable gaming pc? If not, what else should I add?

Thank You! Sorry for bothering any of you. Any answers are much appreciated.

Deneb really isn't that bad at all. Certainly not a PoS. Should be on par or better than a G3258 build.

Don't upgrade the processor, not worth the investment and your mobo probably couldn't handle it.
When you replace your CPU it should be in a completely new build, as that socket is getting pretty dated.
That said i do think a 380x or 390 would blow your mind performance wise. You may run into some problems, but honestly graphics intensive games will run just fine.
750ti isn't going to get you ultra settings in the newest games, but it is a good work horse still in many rigs.
I'd highly suggest holding out for a 380x, which would bring your PC into a very nice gaming area.
You could actually support ultra settings on that rig with something like an R9 390.

It isn't a bad rig, the motherboard won't like being pushed to the max but it should keep up.
The 6 core CPU isn't the best, and you can't OC it with that board, but it honestly isn't that bad.

You probably don't even need the new PSU if you go with the 750ti.
If you go with a better card, like a 380x or 390, you would need the better PSU.

Oh okay, thanks. Not really sure about half of what you wrote but thanks. But if I'm CPU limited, should I get a new processor(It says online but not sure). If so, what processor is going to fit my motherboard. Thanks for answering, I really appreciated it.

Thanks a lot! I might consider buying a 380x now, but should I also upgrade my processor so I can hold up? Thanks, and sorry for bothering you.

If your computer has AMD Phenom II X6 1045T , then it's already at max that motherboard can support.
If you want to significantly upgrade CPU, then you'll need to change motherboard and possibly ram also.
Basically that's whole new PC.

Remember if your thinking about going with the 380x/390 you will have to figure in a cost to also replace your Power supply, you may want to look at GTX 950 low power models those should work with your PSU.

Yeah I already had the PSU in consideration, thanks for the help!

Thanks, I didn't know that my motherboard already supported the max processor.

Thanks a Lot! I am definitely going to buy a 380x or 390 now!
