Will a gtx 760 and AMD vishera fx 9370 work well with each other

You'll be fine, Im running a GTX 660 and a AMD 6300 and it runs fine. Make sure you get a motherboard that supports the 220w TDP, Such as the Asrock 990FX Extreme 3, Which i use and it runs well.
 
My advice is NO.
Any 9xxx series FX processor is thermal garbage. They require much more power than they need, produce excessive heat, and dont add much performance. If you want to stay AMD get the 8320 and overclock it. The 9xxx series is the same architecture as the 8320 just factory OCed, for a hefty fee. Just invest the money saved on a good cooler, which you would need for the 9370 either way.

My advice is get something such as a 4670k or 4770k. Much better performance, power draw, and architecture. The 760 is a good choice.
