Will a gtx 950 fit in my hp h8-1534?

I've been looking at cards lately and saw an evga GeForce gtx 950 ssc 2gb gpu I was wanting to get. My question is will it fit in my case? I believe the specs for my pc say it's a mid size atx case. Also, it says it's an internal atx 460w psu. Would I need to upgrade that too? If so, how many watt psu would run it well? Thanks for any answers, looking to get the card today if I can find out whether it'll fit or not.

that card you want is 10.1 inches long get a tape measurer and mesure the inside of the case where the GPU is going to go on the
MOBO.

Won't let me post the picture, but it doesn't look like anything will block it except for at a little over 10 inches, but it's below where the gpu will sit ( unless is really thick or something). And what about power supply?

Make sure you don't have any weird spots from the MB that the card is going to hit into. If you are using a generic HP case from a computer you would find at best buy or wal mart then most likely you are not going to be able to fit a typical dual fan GPU inside of it.

I have built a few gaming systems from these type of OEM computers and they all have come out great, but in all but one I had to use a single fan GPU. There is actually nothing wrong with getting an mITX or mini itx size single fan GPU, I have great experience with them staying cool and running great.

I think you would be ok with the power supply at 460, but whenever your upgrading to a decent video card it's a good idea to get a decent psu from an actual brand just to assure yourself that nothing is going to fry itself one day. If your psu is the stock one then you need to make sure it has the correct 6 / 8 pin power connector the GPU. I have yet to see a dual fan GPU that does not need to use the 6 / 8 pin connector. I have also never seen a Chinese OEM psu which includes the 6/8 pin power adapter for video cards.

If you upgrade the power supply you may as well get something like a 650 / 750 watt just because it gives you more room later on and the price difference is usually only a few bucks. A good power supply is going to last thru several upgrades so it's worth getting a decent one that can handle whatever power you may add in the future. I think the corsair 750m is one of the better ones for the price.

This is an example of something that definitely will fit just in case your not able to fit a full size in your case. If you want to know for sure then go buy one from best buy and if it does not fit just return it.

This is one of those things your just going to have to put it in and see if it fits. There could be so many little things that cause issues and each card is slightly different. Half of the specs you find aren't even 100% correct. I went thru all of this on my upgrade with a similar case. That 1/4 of an inch makes a huge difference and the company might be measuring to the end of the main card, but there could be a little piece of plastic or something somewhere that goes just slightly further and puts tons of pressure onto a plug for a fan. Or a coil can extend slightly further putting extra heat on wire.. too many variables to know for sure even with a picture.
