Will a gtx 950 work with asrock g31m-s?

The card will work, however, upon seeing your specs, it will not provide any advantage to you as you are running an old XP machine. Your cpu is an old Pentium D and will not really allow you to play any new games, that coupled with the fact that you have only a 74gb hard drive and 2 gigs of ram. Putting a 950 in that system would be pointless.

Imo, i would save up some more money and build a new system if you can. Sorry that your plans didn't work out, if you have any more questions please ask.

What about a Intel Quad Core Q8400 2.66GHz? (and also upgrading to 1tb)
