Will a GTX 980 Bottleneck a AMD FX- 8350 8-Core

Im thinking about putting a GTX 980 in a future build of mine ima get after i get my taxes. Will the GTX 980 Bottleneck a AMD 8350 8-Core

No way. If anything, your CPU might bottleneck your 980 but even that is a very small chance if we're talking gaming wise.

I have a GTX 980 and an i7 6700K, games really well at 1080P ultra on everything I've tried.
It'll be fine, up to QHD at least. Might struggle a bit if you go 4K.

I don't like the description of a CPU or GPU "bottlenecking" each other, it's kinda true but still seems wrong to me.
It's more a case of which is more likely to be a bottleneck in a particular game or application. A weak GPU for example will limit the FPS in a lot of games but it doesn't actually in any way prevent the CPU from using it's full power if required by some other function. The GPU becomes the system/application bottleneck rather than bottlenecking the CPU to my way of thinking

It really depends on the game. It will bottleneck in a game that's CPU bound. In a GPU bound game, maybe not so much.

ARMA2 is very CPU bound, ARMA 3 is worse. CSGO will work fine. Not sure about the others. The 980 is overkill for all of those though. A 970 might be better. Sorry for getting back to you so late.
