Will a high end modem inrease my bandwidth ?

I currently have the isp provided modem \router and was woundering if i bought a high end modem would it atleast provide the what i pay for currently only getting half and i replaced my home line with cat5 cable and it helped i little

If you have issues with your ISP, first step would be to contact their support. If your modem is DOCSIS 3 compliant, it will run at pretty much the max speed you can get from your ISP.
Changing your router/modem won't necessarily make any difference to your bandwidth unless your current one is faulty.

Your actual bandwidth can be affected by conditions that are beyond your control, and can vary throughout the day according to the amount of network congestion.

The bandwidth you are paying for will not necessarily be what you'll actually achieve. If you read your ISP's small print you'll usually find that it says your speed will be "up to" xxx mbits, so it could be below that in practice and it lets your ISP "off the hook" so to speak.

Try another router/modem by all means, but nobody here will be able to guarantee that it will make any difference. Even the most expensive router in the world can't increase your speed beyond that which is coming in to your property. More expensive networking gear is just more reliable & durable generally, not faster.
