Assuming this is for a gaming build, it depends on what games you play. Some games like Battlefield 1 are already struggling with Skylake/Kabylake i5s. If you can tone down your settings in those scenarios then its fine, else get the i7 from those generations or get the i5 from latest gen. Coffelake. It has 2 more cores.
Also change that cooler to Cryorig H7. Costs just a bit more but performs much better. The thermals on current gen. Intel chips are not ideal and they tend to run a bit hot.
