[SOLVED] Will a i5 3470 bottleneck a 1060 6gb?

Solution
Depends heavily on the game and graphics details you want to play at. 4C4T is getting long in the tooth in some modern games for which the sweet spot lies somewhere between 6C6T and 6C12T.

In FFXV for example, I can't get more than 50fps out of my i5-3470 even if I set graphics to lowest everything where GPU load is only ~30% on my GTX1050.

It's not a bad setup but depending on the game it absolutely can. I had a 1060 installed with an i5 3570k with a light overclock to 4.2. CPU intensive games like BF1 would cap the usage to 100% and was not able to feed the 1060 to make full use of it.
