will a i5 4690k ork with msi z87 g45 with bios 1.9 latest

hi i wanted to get an i5 4670k but the i5 4690k is cheaper and has thermal iproved tim so would my motherboard support this and work fine my mobo is updated to the latest one bois on msi site and thats version 1.9 and i update intel ME to the latest would the cpu work just fine with the mobo? and my mobo is a msi z87 g45 gaming

According to MSI website, 4690K has support as of bios version 1.8, so yes you should be good with 1.9
