This would easily outperform that 880K and any older i5's, plus with the AM4 socket AMD is using it until 2020 so it'll be easier to upgrade later on. PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant
It's a older socket so I don't really think its worth investing into, what CPU do you have in it already?
Me and luke have the same system we both have a amd a6 6400k. We are getting a gtx 1050ti and a x4 880k. Do you know of any other motherboard that will fit a gtx 1050 ti a x4 880k and 8gb ram ddr3. Or a 1060 and a i5 cpu?
Your current motherboard would support the 880K and the 1050 ti. To get a Intel i5 you'd have to find a used i5 and a 1150 socket motherboard so you could reuse your DDR3 RAM.
Just wondering what is the max amount you can spend on upgrades?

H81M-PLUS INTEL H81 (SOCKET 1150) DDR3 MICRO ATX MOTHERBOARD. Would this fit a 1050ti or a 1060 with a i5 or ryzen? and what bit operating system does it support?

That's a Haswell 1150 socket Intel, so yes either 1050 ti or 1060 and a 1150 socket i5 would work in the system.
