Will a i7 6800k do me good for extreme gaming.

Hello!

Well the title says it all. Will the i7 6800k serve me well in extreme gaming.

I just want a CPU that would last me 2 years and be able to play any game on the way, if this CPU isn't suited I'll take any that is with a i7 prosesser and a socket of (LGA2011-v3) and the best CPU cooler I could get is a liquid cooler.

My budget for the CPU would be anything below 700aud

Any suggestions would be very much appreciated. Thanks

7700K is still the best gaming CPU, plus the motherboards are cheaper. Just get that if you're not doing any streaming. The best CPU cooler is the one that fits your needs, not just "a liquid cooler." High end air coolers are larger but offer the same performance as a 240mm AIO with no moving parts.
