Will a i75820k fit in my z97x killer motherboard?

absolutely not.

the i7-5820k is a LGA 2011 chip, that's a lga 1150 motherboard.

the i7-5820k goes with x99 motherboards, nothing else.

You can only use i7 4790k and below on a Z97 1150 board. LGA 2011-3 is an entirely different socket, which uses the X99 chipset.
