Hi Everyone,
I have a Antec VP450P PSU (https://photos.app.goo.gl/1L5DWFEVZ1coBrgs1). I want to buy the Leadtek WinFast GTX 1060 6GB. The maximum TDP of the card is 120W and recommended psu is 400w. Mine is 450w so I thought its good to go. But the website says the leadtek card needs a 8 pin power connector. Why would a 120W card need a 8 pin power connector? I only have a 6 pin power connector in my PSU. Isn't a 6 pin connector delivers more than 120W? Can I somehow use this using the my 6 pin connector? Or Do I need an adapter? And Is it safe?
My other specs:
Intel core i5 6500
8GB RAM
1 mouse, 1 keyboard.
Thanks in advance :)

ok, yes it would with an adapter but I would NOT recommend it. There are a bunch of 1060 6gb cards without an 8 pin, most have the 6pin connector. I have never heard of this brand and there is nothing wrong with that but you might as well get one that is compatible with your current setup. the adapter isn't the way to do it.
