Yeah the I/O Sheild has to come out at the same time you take the mother board.

If you're going to be using a discrete graphics card in that system the model of graphics card will determine what power supply capacity will be required.
If you've already determined what graphics card you will be using in this system please post the information here in this thread.
The Radeon HD 5450 draws less than 20 Watts under typical gaming load.
