Will a mobile broadband USB dongle work on a PC with no WiFi card?

Just a quick question (hopefully) about the mobile broadband USB dongles. I'm soon moving out to a place quite far from town and there is no good stable internet but the mobile connection is really good. At this point mobile broadband is the best solution until I can get the internet up and running.
EDIT: Notice that I made my question a bit unclear. What I was wondering is if the USB dongle can provide internet to my PC that doesn't have a wireless card.

Any answers are much appreciated.

Thanks for reading!

Solution
With a USB dongle connected to a cell tower for internet, the PC will get internet through the USB. Same for tethering - you connect you phone up to USB(like it's charging) and turn on tethering.

It probably does, yeah, I have an S6. The dongle is a Hawei E3372 and my network card is build in my motherboard and it's using Killer Network. If that's of any help.

Ok, good! Thank you so much for the help!

Just be wary for the following issues :

1) Prime times that will slow down the cellular use, for example when alot of people on the road near by (holidays, to/from work traffic etc.).
2) Check with provider of the service, they all have a Cell USE Cap. And just one good Windows Update can max your cap for the entire month.
3) Disable EVERYTHING that starts up on your computer, except antivirus. Anything else will keep trying and sucking down the very narrow speed / bandwidth you have.

Thank you for the tips. :)

Will be having a subscription for 100 gb a month and I will be the only one using it, think I need to turn off start up programs anyway?
