Will a MSI ATI Radeon HD 7970 work on a gigabyte 78LMT-USB3 motherboard

Your mobo has a PCI-E 2 slot so yes it'll work, the PCI-E 3 cards can't fill the PCI-e 2 bandwidth, may be a hair slower, but not that i think you'll notice
