Hello, I am looking to upgrade my graphics card without upgrading my whole comp. Can I install a new Nvidia 1060 in my 10 yr old computer, specs below.

Chip: Intel i5-750 Lynnfield 2.66 ghz
Mobo: ASUS P7P55P LGA 1156 ATX
Current G-cards: Dual XFX Radeon HD 4770 Direct X 10.1 times 2
SSD Hardrives
850 Watt power supply
16 gigs of ram g-skill

Legacy boot mode refers to old motherboards that use the old conventional text based BIOS. Modern motherboards, since the Sandy Bridge generation, use a modern graphical UEFI BIOS.

Some graphics cards manufacturers will leave out legacy mode support and only have UEFI support due to VBIOS size constraints or a decision to just not support old motherboards.

If your motherboard's legacy BIOS doesn't detect any legacy support in your graphics card's VBIOS during POST (Power On Self Test) then all you'll see is a black screen.
