Will a pc turn on without cpu like the fans,mobo led, power button.

Will pc turn on without cpu?(fans, power button, and mobo leds)im not dumb enough to think that it will post but will mobo led,hdd,fans,and even the power button IN NEED OF HELP!!! Mainly will the power button turn the pc on without cpu

MB will definitely get some power, maybe even turn on some fans or USB but that means absolutely NOTHING. Not even if PSU is in good working order. If PSU starts up at all it should power up HDDs or anything directly connected to it.

it will power on your motherboard with a RED led ligh and all the other devices connected to your mobo but they wont be detected as well since most of them are dependent on the CPU installed (such as PCIE). (i dont about old school motherboards about beeps and all that). it will just say that the CPU not detected message.and it wont damage anything as long as you put the power cables on the right pins. highly advise trying NOT to do whatever you are trying to do there tho. are you just rechecking if your other components are still working after a busted CPU?
