will a pci e2.1 graphics card work in my pci e 1.1 machine ?

i just bought a computer which apparently has a 1.1 slot and i want to know
if it will work or it will slow down due to bandwidth restrictions.

also can someone tell me what generation of pci e does a asrock g41m vs3 r2.0
motherboard has ?

your mobo has 1 pcie x16 gen 1 slot, so yes it will limit the bandwidth of a 2.1 card, however the performance hit will likely be less than ~3%.

will games like fifa 14 play if i install a good card ? ( inno3d geforce gt 440 2gb in specific)

well, it depends on your specs, but the older pcie x16 slot will not make a game go from playable to unplayable.

pentium 4 3.0ghz (630)

how will that fair against games like fifa 14 with graphics card mention earlier ?
