Will a PCI Wireless adapter block my GPU?

Hello everyone!

I want to buy a Wireless PCI adapter to my computer because the USB adapter isn't working anymore and I would like to obtain the best WiFi signal possible.

I have read that in some cases the Wirless PCI adapters tend to either fully block the GPU or at least block the fan of the GPU, or also that GPU will block the PCIe x1 slot. I still don't have a GPU, but I would like to buy a powerful GPU in the near future.

My motherboard is a small GA-78LMT-USB3. Here is an image of the motherboard:

And my case is a V2X aerocool http://

when you get a gpu also buy a riser, so you can move the gpu around to make sure nothing gets blocked

Aww, I have never read this before. I was searching in the Internet, do you mean to mount my GPU vertically?

just the riser, no need for the brace


and no you dont want to mount it like that, just use the riser to make sure the card fits and doesnt block the wireless adapter and vice versa
