I want to upgrade my current GPU (Being a GTX 760 OEM Card) To something a bit newer and within my budget like a RX 6600 XT, The unfortunate thing is, my Motherboard and CPU are both only PCIe Gen 3.0 Compatible. I know that plugging in a 4.0 Device will have some downsides such as slower speeds between the RAM and GPU, but usually most cards nowadays are above 6GB of VRAM. However i want to know if there are any other issues relating to plugging a 4.0 GPU to a 3.0 Slot.

It will fit the slot and work, but, before buying an RX 6600 XT, I suggest you read this article right here at Tom's-
