Will a Q9650 bottleneck two gtx960 in sli?

I have 2 gtx 960, the 2gb version and Planning to buy a Q9650 and an evga 790i mobo. Can't afford something better, those parts are second hand.

Yes. In some games that cpu would bottleneck a single 960. Imho youd be better off selling a 960 and getting a better cpu and motherboard.

Agreed. Some games can even be unplayable with big bottlenecks.

I wonder how much if possible you could overclock your Q9650 with that board evga 790i. looks like a good quality board.
