Will a R9 270 bottleneck a pentium 4?

So i've got this old gaming computer at home wich is running a pentium 4 whit 2.5 GB Ram DDR2 if im not mistaken. If i put a r9 270 in it would it bottleneck too much?

You need a whole new system. There's no point in upgrading something so outdated.

I Will Upgrade, its just a temporary solution so i can game in a dekstop. At the moment i dont have the money to build a full system.

wait a sec before you put in a gpu you NEED to tell us what power supply you have.
i have an r7 250 in my brothers rig its not that bad its really cool and cheap and small.

A Pentium 4 will bottleneck *anything*. A 270 would perform like an integrated Intel GPU with a Pentium 4.

You seriously need a new CPU.

This temporary solution isn't really a solution, I predict you'll experience terrible FPS, frame drops and stuttering.
I tried myself Tomb Raider (2013) on an Athlon 64 X2 5600 + R9 270X, even though it's one of the most CPU-agnostic games out there the performance was terrible in some areas.

Just to let you know of course, you decide.

Maybe you fall in the market category (price range) for a FM2+ with A10 or A8 integrated graphics (don't forget the fast 2133 Mhz RAM in dual-channel or something near it) but I don't know if that's a good idea. I went with a Haswell i3 myself (the new Celerons and Pentiums were blocked for being dual core by two games already, DA:I and FC4, so I can't recommend it to a gaming machine).

This is NOT my current pc. And ok, it seems i will wait to get more money to build the pc. Thank you for all your help guys
