will a radeon r7 370 work in a dell inspiron 620 mt?

hi, recently got a radeon r7 370, after installing it in dell inspiron 620mt, my computer won't boot up, any help would be great, thanks

Does the PC turn on but just nothing is displayed on the screen?

it turns on but won't boot anything, but if i put my old card back in which is radeon hd 6570, it will boot up normally

And you have the monitor connected to the GPU right?

yeah, plugged it in with hdmi and dvi, and the bios thing i tried that, but mines doesn't seem to have that option to change anything in bios like that link you shared

Both HDMI and DVI at the same time? use only DVI.

That PSU is crap and is not safe for the PC. It is VERY terrible quality. Change for an Antec, XFX, Seasonic, EVGA (G2,B2,GS). This is the single most important part of the computer. A bad PSU and the whole PC will be toast.

Also, do you have the 6-pin power connector connected from the PSU to the GPU?

no, ment i tried both hdmi and dvi, but not at same time, and yes it has the poer connected to the gpu, the fans on card work, just won't boot up, just power on, no sign of anything starting normally.

Your BIOS should have an option to turn secure boot off and turn legacy boot on.

okay tried it again, when i press f2 and go into bio's there is a tab that says boot, but under it, it lists 5 things, hard drive, cd drive, usb, and usb floppy, and network, and if you try and change it, it will only let you change it to one that i've of the names i listed

You don't want to change those. Those are Boot DEVICES.

Look under the other tabs and check in every menu.

did a few times, nothing, all it shows about bio's is the version which is A10, doesn't let me change anything else.

I doubt it. IF the system powers up it is NOT the PSU. Yours should be replaced as it is crap, but this is NOT the problem.

I'm 99% sure it's the BIOS settings.

dang, from what i can see after you said it was in bios, i looked at some vids, i can see how they change theres, but mines won't let me do that kind of stuff, dunno why

Have you been through everything in the BIOS? Every option under every tab? Clicked everything there is?
