[SOLVED] Will a recent graphics card work with my current system?

Hey eveeryone, I'm currently using a i7-4790 on a z87m plus from Asus along with a 1060. I'm planning on getting a 2070/3060 soon and I'm wondering if my current system will work fine or will I need to replace my board along with my cpu. Thanks in advance

it should work if your PSU is adequate...

If you are happy with current framerates with 1060, you should have slightly even higher FPS but now at 1440P, but, I'd not expect a drastic increase in FPS at 1080P with your current CPU...
