As the title says, if I buy Black Ops 3 at my local store, instead of digital (Which saves 15 euros) will it still go trough steam?
Thanks in advance
It should. I went out and bought a physical disk for a game and on the inside was the access code for steam. This basically just connects the game that you download to steam, so you should be set!

So this would be for any game like I bought Far Cry 4, entered the code in Uplay, could I've entered the code in steam? Thanks
You need steam to play the game - period. Even though it is not downloaded from steam, all updates come downloaded from steam. Good or bad, you're stuck with steam for COD on PC.

Yeah. It gets a little tricky when it comes to games that are made by companies that want their own digital distribution app, like Origin (EA) or Uplay (Ubisoft), you might need to google around a bit
