[SOLVED] Will a Ryzen 3 1300x stock cooler work with a Ryzen 5 1600?

It's a long story but if I have an old 1300x cooler will it work on a r5 1600?

Yes.

All of the "65W" coolers for the first gen are essentially the same with or without an LED. IIRC the regular R3 coolers were a little thinner, but not enough IMO to cause issue with non OC operation.
